The Elephant in the Room is Donald J Trump. Stop asking him the questions. He doesn’t know the answers! #COVID19

Margaret, I get it. I really do. We are in the middle of a pandemic. Everyone is scared and things are a bit crazy. Of course, the President should address the American people. Of course, he should. But just not this one. It’s not helping. It really isn’t.

There is nothing decent about this man. He has cheated on all three of his wives. His career is filled with lawsuits, bankruptcies, claims of racism, tax evasion, discrimination, even rape. Nothing. Nothing about this man is honorable much less tolerable. His only claim to fame is taking joy in firing people on national television.

How he became President I’ll never understand, but he did. And since becoming President over three years ago, he’s proven time and time again that he is pretty horrible at his job. In fact, if I were his boss, I’d fire him. I mean when he fabricated stories about the size of his inauguration, I would have just rolled my eyes and wondered if I had hired the wrong person. When he threw paper towels at hurricane victims, I probably would have at least sat him down. Told him he was out of line. Maybe written him up and given him a warning. But when he suggested that Nazi’s running over a woman with a car should be given some slack because they might be very fine people… well then… then, I would have fired his ass.

But I’m not his boss… well technically I guess I am, but you know… Representative government and all. So, he’s still there and now there’s this pandemic and for some reason he insists on crawling out of his drug induced coma each day at 11:30 to address the American people. And even though he is surrounded by a bunch of experts, the media keeps asking him the questions. The fact that he constantly makes shit up doesn’t seem to stop them. They keep asking questions and he’s keeps making shit up.

I’ve got a suggestion. How about we stop asking the elephant in the room questions and instead direct them to the experts standing behind him? What do they say, fool me once? Well he’s fooled them about 15,000 times and they just keep asking. Stop asking the asshat questions! Ask the experts. After all, millions of lives depend on the answers being correct.

And let’s be clear. When I say expert, I don’t mean Mike Pence. His version of social distancing is to quarantine in Trump’s ass. And somehow from inside Trump’s ass he still manages to pat Trump on the back while simultaneously giving him a standing ovation. No. Mike Pence is the expert in one thing and one thing only – brown nosing. I’m talking Dr. Anthony Fauci or Dr. Deborah Birx or even that Chad guy. Who is Chad again?

We need answers. We need them desperately. Millions of lives are depending on those answers. I am begging the White House Press Corps to stoping ask Trump the fucking questions.

We need answers. Not lies. Really. I mean it.

  1. Cannot believe that tRump considers us all so expendable. He thinks that one state needing 30,000 ventilators is ridiculous. Says most hospitals usually have only two ventilators and suddenly there is a need for 30,000??? Good Lord almighty! That’s 30,000 across a state, dumbass! Right now New York is considering hooking up two patients to one ventilator until they can get the number of machines they need. This guy has got to go before he ends up killing more people.

They had the makings of this medicine in the house but it was not meant for humans. It was meant for fish tanks. Jus wish someone would put a cork in tRump’s mouth. He has done more harm than good.

  7. What really kills me is Trump’s unwillingness to use the Emergencies act to standardize prices of masks. He’s talking to them. That means he’s saying but do me a favor. Donate a percentage of your profit on the masks to my slush fund. If you don’t, I’ll invoke the act an you will be paid the cost to operate and not a penny more. So that’s why New York to Washington state are paying $7 a mask instead of $1 for a mask and half of them are going overseas. We need more makers, honest patriots.

If you have traveled the USA like have in the last 6 years you’d understand the disenfranchment people feel toward the government. They put there Hope’s for a better America in a TV celebrity/businessman. He’s obviously a total moron bully adultaror liar narcissist factaphobic.
He is not to blame for the virus, but his denial of all things factual prevented him from making us prepared. He is not alone in this denial, but his down staffing of 75% of the CDC offices and not thinking bbn of the country first rather than his potential election is unforgivable.
Now to the essence of our discussion; does this catastrophe awaken the eyes, minds, and sensibilities of his Base ? Do they see yet his incompetence or are they going to continue to DEFLECT all important topics against the “Socialist” demons of the democratic party.
But wait, with this gigantic economy disaster will they not see this as Socialistic bandaid.
Time will tell if his base will see the light.
I’m not totally convinced the NDP has a solid plan either, but Hell no, Trump must go.

Ultimately his response is how much he understands and how good he thinks he is doing. Delusional lying trump. The day he berated a lovely Chinese reporter I was shocked, well honestly I was not shocked I was disgusted. He was beyond rude.

I can’t imagine a worse president for handling a crisis such as the coronavirus. Actually, come to think of it, I can’t imagine a worse president. Hard period. Another expert that I respect is Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN. He has good straight forward answers. Check him out.

He has no morals, no compassion, no ethics & I’m afraid not much of a brain. I’m embarrassed for our country because of our so called President. He needs to keep his big mouth shut and let the medical & scientific people speak. He needs to control his little boy tantrums too.
We need a President who can accept good advice & lead our nation in midst of this crisis.
Unfortunately we don’t have one. I pray this will change come November when we get a new President.

Since he is now calling himself a “war president,” although the irony of The Bonespurs Kid considering himself a war president is laughable, I would not be a bit surprised if he tried to pull some funny business and declare that we can’t have an election on account of the “dire situation.” It wouldn’t surprise b me a jot.

We watch TV and read and I play with my upgraded Tracfone. It has features that my old one did not. I have a whole keyboard instead of pressing the 2 button once for a, twice for b, etc. Took forever to send a text. I think this new one is fine, fine. Kid with a new toy. Can you believe how many people think Trump is doing a good job handling this coronavirus debacle? Fox News viewers, I guess. Take care and we’ll see you, as my mama would say, “in the springtime.”

  32. Thanks Helen! I definetely would turn in to listen to the experts daily. However, I mute my TV during the daily press conferences especiallly when he is talking. I am not inclined to hear his lies and hear him belittle reporters. He has not taken responsibility for having mislead us. In December, we already knew about covid19. As late as February, he was calling it a hoax. No, I don’t want to hear him say anything about not knowing about the virus. How does one keep a virus from spreading when we have air travel these days and people can move to the other side of the earth in a day’s time? The time to start preparing was in December, not March.

    a) There has to be a bit of “Oh lord, what kind of crap is he going to say today?” behind asking him the questions. There just has to be.

    b) Can you imagine his reaction if a reporter would “talk over him” at one of the true experts and just ignore him altogether? Can you say apoplectic?

  48. Some people still seem to think he is either doing a good job, and a few of those who disagree are continue to think he should and can dig himself out of this. But until he accepts his responsibility as POTUS for handling this and overcomes his well-honed tendency to decide he is the only expert in the room who fully grasps the answer and therefore makes up solutions that don’t exist, all the while becoming consistent over time in actually acting how his recent speeches claim we all must, and quits the stupid diversionary tactics, there is nothing this man can say or do that will garner my trust in this administration. The reporters covering the press briefing and their cohorts are well and truly p-o’d about how he treated them at the 3/20 press conference-even on the PBS NewsHour where the tenor is normally calm and at least trying to be balanced.

  49. Totally agree with Margaret — enough of his speaking at these briefings. He is “campaigning” people and this needs to stop!

But just how do we get the Press to stop asking Trump the questions? The Press needs to wake up. I just wish there were a trap door under the podium that someone could press the magic button and drop Trump AND Pence through to get rid of them. One is as ineffectual as the other. Neither has a conscience — or a heart.

But just how do we get the Press to stop asking him the questions? I just wish there were a trap door under that podium that he could be dropped through and put an end to this ordeal. He is totally useless — worse that useless, he is dangerous. Got help us all.

But the pandemic has caused me to foolishly look for a change in tone. Why does his family not explain the havoc he unleashes when he lies. Why, why, why is he still pretending to be a President. Narcissism explains some of his personality, but mean spirited and chaotic?????? Then return the favor to him. I am at a loss to understand how experts stand behind him every day while he upends our world.

His inaction, his failure to lead in a responsible manner in crisis situations is more than shameful…it is deadly. Why can’t some people see this? What is it going to take for people to realize that he has no capability for leading the nation. He refuses to listen to the advice of others who are far more knowledgeable in their fields than he is. His self-esteem is far more important to him than anything else. What a sad muddle we’re in. Lord, help us get through it.

Questions were directed to the Secretary and the orange one answered. Our Prime Minister Trudeau speaks to the country, highlights the main developments of the day and answers questions calmly and reassuringly. In a separate briefing, the Chief Medical officer, the different Ministers, Deputy Prime Minister brief the country in all aspects, medical, transportation, financial aid with details.
A mark of a good leader is to have the experts lead. The Orange one thinks he’s an expert in everything unfortunately.

Imagine how hard the Government of Canada had to work to be able to close the border and to negotiate a reciprocal agreement that border crossers would be returned to their country of origin.Bruce Heyman concurs with me that it wasn’t Trump who wanted to close the border. 50% of all cases in my province originated in the US.

And yet the Orange one’s base still think he’s wonderful and believe all his lies.
